Pratham in Assam
Pratham began its work in Assam as a result of ASER in 2005. The Read India program was launched in 13 districts in 2007, thus marking the beginning of programmatic work in the State. In 2008, a R&D project was initiated that put together a language support program for children who did not have access to education in their mother tongue in Kokrajhar and Chirang Districts.
